I’m not an expert so need your help here but I’m thinking that somewhere in the entirety of applying and retaining a broadcasting or publishing license or certification in our country the applicant must complete and attest to at one basic fundamental principles and standards to be properly classified as a news organization, journalist or the loose term “ press” or every tom, dick, and Harry with a number 2 pencil and notepad could self proclaim themselves as a news organization. Then these forms must be reviewed and approved by FCC and perhaps others to obtain approval. I’m sure it’s more complicated with renewals, violations, fines or even yanking a license. But my point is this. I think most Americans are smart enough to deduce if these liberal rags lie so openly daily on air without consequence other than falling ratings and sponsors dropping them like flies, that most likely they lied and continue to lie on federal forms used to obtain original broadcasting authority and periodic review or renewals. Who is monitoring this closely ? I propose a congressional committee be appointed to thoroughly investigate all the applications, renewals, violations, penalties, processes, definition of terms like “ press” or “ journalist” as opposed to fictional entertainment, talk show, or lying shit show and review if the plug should be pulled. We can sit and wait to allow ratings and viewership to destroy naturally when sponsors and money follow the audience’s choices as they become increasingly disgusted and the digital age replaces legacy news publication and broadcasting infested with the liberal virus plague or we can investigate the application processes, lies, inaccuracies and loopholes in a system that someone responsible to manage compliance but has either failed to follow up or has had budget, employees and resources cut to prevent anyone from enforcing laws already on the books but unknown to most and never enforced. Is there anybody in this X community who knows the legalese on this ?

It’s easy to be brave when you have enough already earning interest to keep you comfortable for the remainder of your life while average Americans live paycheck to paycheck and budgets so tight that their only entertainment at night after tuna noodle casserole for dinner and a cold natural light because it’s all they can afford is to flip on Fox News for a few minutes of hope before going to bed early to rest up working two jobs and brown bagging lunch while network hosts hand out at fancy Manhattan or DC private clubs, five star restaurants, or the best game seats from VIP skyboxes, private security and chauffeur’s dropping them off at the front door

Bravery to walk away over principle comes from those with courage to reject bad decisions by walking away with no promise of what you will do tomorrow. To have faith just like disciples two thousand years ago who dropped everything they had to include fishing nets to immediately follow Jesus with zero luggage, credit cards, cash reserves, and loaded range rovers
