@SalvatoreVitr0 @Pat_Egan @JohnKincade I can’t speak to the right side of the graphic, but the left side is a still from the film, and we had actual painstaking, old school stop motion animators. The puppet itself was built by hand as well! A phenomenal company from Philly, actually.

Big Phan, a documentary about the Phanatic, premieres Saturday at the Philly Film Festival. It's excellent and it could only have been made by two brothers who grew up at the Vet. https://t.co/Hz4yLcBOhN

I got to go to the premiere of @BigPhanDoc today because @TylerKepner is a good friend & made sure that I was there. This doc will make you laugh, of course, b/c The Phanatic is hilarious. But it will make you cry too. It is so incredibly well done. I’m proud to have been there.

@dwatravers @phillyfilmsoc Great meeting you, Kev! Love the collage. So glad you were there with us. Highlight for me was the Phanatic being completely unpredictable. We tried to schedule every moment but you gotta just let the Big Fella fly.

@WTPDavid @TylerKepner Ha! A hippo isn’t a bad guess. We explore the no-intro in the film. Insane that he just appeared one day. No explanation, nothin’.

[Big Phan (A Documentary) @BigPhanDoc]

@WTPDavid @TylerKepner Amazing!
