In conjunction with #NativeAmericanHeritageDay on Friday for this week's Superstar Sunday we want to highlight Aaron Yazzie of the Diné Nation (@YazzieSays). Yazzie is a mechanical engineer for @NASAJPL designing mechanical systems for NASA’s robotic space research missions.
Yazzie is both a leader in Space and here on Earth! In his free time he works to increase representation of Indigenous peoples as a Sequoyah Fellow and professional member of American Indian Science and Engineering Society.

For today’s Superstar Sunday we are highlighting Dr. Mae C. Jeminson 🌟On sept 12, 1992 Dr. Jemison became the first African-American Woman in Space! She obtained her M.D. in 1981 and spent the next two and half years volunteering with the Peace Corp.
After leaving the Austronaut Corp. she went on to teach at Dartmouth College and founded her company, the Jemison Group to encourage a love of science and bring advanced technology to school across the globe. Recently she has stepped in to lead the 100-year Starship program.
This Friday at 10 AM our AXP team will be launching three CanSats attached to a HAB from the UNO campus.
We expect touchdown somewhere in Red Oak, IA.
