@BradenTClark This was pulled from the 2024 season, so it could be different now. Disappointing either way. However, a few that jump off the page to me as schools that we should be equal or higher than imo: Jax St, Costal Carolina, App St, Ark St.

A coach that can give them something to get excited about. Going from back to back conference championships, a top 25 ranking and a 10 win season to 0 championships, zero double digit win seasons, and let down after let down over the next 9 seasons (and counting) doesn’t get anyone excited about anything. The last 2 CUSA champions had been in FBS for 2 seasons.

Couldn’t agree more. Pretty sure EKU has a higher enrollment than us now. I think they chalked that up as focusing on “higher admission standards” and better retention rates. Hopefully seeing this pisses everyone off like it should. A blunder by our leadership, who is content with mediocrity, and will continue to not publicly acknowledge what has happened to us.

Lots of praise for the back court. They’re questioning our front court though. Which is fair given the last 2 seasons. Hopefully, this is the year we get some production in the post. Liberty is still going to be liberty and will be undersized again this year. Kennesaw state is long again and could have a very good defense. Excited to get a look at the Tops next week.

Jim Richards, a former WKU Men's Basketball Head Coach, Director of Athletics and member of the WKU Athletic Hall of Fame, passed away Friday, Oct. 9.

He was 90 years old.

This is the best I’ve felt about our backcourt in a while. I really think Teagan and Melo could put up very similar stat lines that AW and C Lee had in ‘05-‘06. Could be the best guard combo we’ve had since those two. Plus if LJ is what he was at the end of the season.. lot of production between those 3.

@TOPPER_TALK Allen is only averaging 12 carries a game. That needs to go up. Glad to see we ran it more in the second half. Our passing offense is not good enough to sling it like we have in the past.

@TheTowelRackWKU Mora said he relieved him of his play calling duties during the game and then Summers made the decision on his own to walk off the field mid game. That is when Mora decided to fire him. Essentially like a player getting benched then just walking away from the team.
