First drive on FSD 14.3.3 Down Under! 🇦🇺
I go through everything that's been fixed vs v13.2.9 and test third party charger parking and a Perth Airport drop-off.
@CARN0N It happens in two spots in particular, both are leaving a main road to a side road. Thinking it may be a navigation issue, the road has been upgraded and may be different to how it used to be. Very scary when it first happened, lucky no oncoming traffic.
Was told tonight that electric trucks don’t work, nobody has them and there’s no way of charging them.
Here’s a picture of proof they’re talking nonsense.
Dear anti-EV crowd. I drove gas vehicles for 30 years. I attended car shows. I've modified engines and suspensions. I'm a Mustang Club of America-certified national car show judge. I still love classic muscle.
I also used to love making mixed tapes, visiting Blockbuster on Saturday nights, or shopping for new music at Sam Goody. I was a photographer and spent a lot of time and money on film and developing.
At the same time, I was one of the first to rip my music to MP3s, upgrade my internet connection to stream video, and own one of the first Sony digital cameras.
And here we are again on the cusp of change. EVs are here for the masses, and the market will drive the change because EVs are better all-around vehicles for most people. Gas vehicles will be obsolete in another decade or two.
Luckily for you, you don't have to change now. Nor should you be forced to. Gas vehicles will be around long enough to meet your needs or driving preferences until you are ready, and I'm thankful for that.
But you see, I don't need your battery-fire warnings, comments about pumping gas in 5 minutes, or selective outrage about rare-earth mineral mining posted from your mobile phone.
The ICE age is drawing to a close. Legacy auto and dealerships are on borrowed time. The automotive industry is ripe for massive disruption, and many people don't see it coming. But it's coming; you can’t stop it.
Bad news for the “nobody wants EVs” crowd…
The Tesla Model 3 has been named the UK’s Best Car to Own, in the latest Driver Power owner satisfaction survey from Auto Express, based on feedback from thousands of real owners across all cars.
The Model 3 topped the rankings with owners praising its reliability, safety features, driving experience, drivetrain smoothness and overall ownership experience
In fact, owners gave it a perfect score for drivetrain smoothness, something that’s virtually impossible for any petrol or diesel car to match.
It’s easy to see why.
You get instant torque, low running costs, minimal maintenance, home charging convenience, over-the-air updates and access to the Supercharger network.
The reality is that most people who actually live with an EV don’t want to go back.
They’ll cry like I’ve made this up, or “it’s not real 😭” or “Elon paid them to say this”.
Remember when they said Tesla was finished 🤣
