Before Chowdeck was on our shirt, they were at our games.
In February 2022, Sporting Lagos was in its first season and Chowdeck was only a few months old.
They were one of the companies that believed in what we were building very early. They came to our games and took on the difficult job of getting food to fans inside a football stadium.
We have spent the last few days searching for pictures of @LordBinary_ (confirm this), Chowdeck’s CEO, personally handing orders to fans at the stadium. We remember it happening, but we still cannot find any. If you have one, please send it to us.
A lot has happened since then.
We got promoted. We got relegated. We waited. Then we fought our way back to the NPFL.
Chowdeck went on its own journey, growing from a young Lagos company into one of Africa’s leading on-demand delivery platforms.
Through all of that, the relationship remained.
Today, we are making it official.
Chowdeck joins Sporting Lagos for the 2026/27 season as our Sleeve Partner, Back-of-Shirt Partner and Official Delivery Partner.
Their logo will appear on the sleeve and bottom back of our first-team home and away jerseys. Beyond the shirt, Chowdeck businesses will return to our matchdays, and Chowdeck will help deliver Sporting Lagos jerseys and merchandise to supporters across the states where it operates.
There is plenty more for both teams to build together this season.
Four and a half years after they first showed up, Chowdeck is taking its place on the Sporting Lagos shirt.
From matchday to every match.
Welcome back, @Chowdeck 💙💛
🥸 James tried to excuse their defeat by claiming our lineup has been playing together for years.
The absolute reality? Only 5 players from our 2023 season remain in the side. 🤣
