Also terrible communication @SouthwestAir. Original flight delayed on tarmac. We deplane. Get assigned new plane for departure at 10:50. At 10:52 we get announcement that the first officer went over their hours. At 11 flight is cancelled due to unable to staff.

The flight has now been cancelled @SouthwestAir. More than 3 hours after original time. Got rebooked onto a connecting flight thru BNA. Auto assigned groups c50 & 51. Worst boarding positions. Will be arriving in STL now 9 hours after the original arrival time. Very cool!

Yo @SouthwestAir boarded my flight from lax to stl 1.5 hrs ago. Just made us deplane, engine 1 wasn’t starting up. Now waiting for a new plane. Pilot and attendants were great and helpful. But cmon. Aircraft was super old too. One of the old fleet. No usb ports, old headrests etc
