@EmmaEntertains@yellam_inf The weird thing is, hecking same. I'd be more then honored. If I was in her position I'd be making monthly contests for it, and paying the best gooner of the month.
๐จ Microsoft just open sourced a voice AI that was too dangerous to keep live.
They took it down. Added watermarks and safety controls. Then re-released it. For free.
It's called VibeVoice.
Microsoft's frontier open source voice AI.
Clone any voice from 10 seconds of audio. Generate 90 minutes of multi-speaker conversation. Real-time streaming. All running locally on your machine.
No ElevenLabs. No $99/month subscription. No per-minute pricing.
Here's what this thing does:
โ Text-to-speech that sounds indistinguishable from a real human
โ Generate up to 90 minutes of audio in a single pass
โ 4 distinct speakers in one conversation with natural turn-taking
โ Clone any voice from just 10 seconds of audio
โ Real-time streaming TTS. First audio in ~200 milliseconds.
โ Speech-to-text that processes 60 minutes of audio in one pass
โ Identifies who said what and when. Speaker labels + timestamps.
โ Supports 50+ languages for transcription
โ Custom hotwords for names, technical terms, domain-specific accuracy
Here's the wildest part:
Give it a podcast script. It generates a full multi-speaker conversation that sounds like two real humans talking. Natural pauses. Emotional nuance. Turn-taking. 90 minutes. One command.
Microsoft had to take this repo down once because people were misusing it for deepfakes and disinformation. They brought it back with embedded watermarks, audio disclaimers, and safety controls.
That's how powerful this is. A $3 trillion company built it. Released it. Pulled it. Fixed it. And gave it back to the world.
ElevenLabs: $99/month.

Amazon Polly: pay per character.

@TastyyBirdy Something I learned from Linus Tech Tips. Security through obscurity. Didnt look through it, but as suggested its probably already been bypassed.
Best security you could possibly have is having a boring avatar no one wants to rip.
Hollywood gatekeeping is dying.
Very soon, blockbuster-level films will come from tiny teams of obsessed hobby directors armed with AI, taste, and zero permission.
Big budgets wonโt matter.
Gatekeepers wonโt matter.
ElevenLabs just lost its moat ๐คฏ
Someone just dropped Voicebox, and it clones any voice from just a 3-second audio clip, running 100% locally on your machine.
100% Open Source

@Jinxxy_com I reported 'promoted ads' for months, that you kept serving me that would use a bright white horse cock on a black background so even when blurred by the nsfw filter you knew exactly what was going on... I honestly dont have alot of sympathy on this.
@IlexisTheMadcat@FuckKoroks Theres a term called the 'Kinsey Scale.' In with a 0 on the scale is exclusively straight, and a 6 on the scale is exclusively gay. Futa's, femboys, tomgirls, trans, and yes, foreigners piloting your robot sex machine, would be in the middle. In this example, probably a 2 or 3
@Strykus@ReykuXD @jbollinger1467 @VRChat This is actually an easy fix. On your hair physbone, go into playmode, and set an angle limit on your hair, bring max angle down to something like 20, then on rotation adjust the pitch till the physbones start moving. Bring it back down just a lil bit and your done.
@migero_usausagi@VRChat VRchat is using an LTS version, long term service. Its still getting updates from unity, just the architecture isn't changing. Most players don't use unity standard shaders, and most worlds don't use real time lighting. Not too much point in upgrading.
