On Saturday our Youth Theatre, Little Brum, are sharing their devised play, ‘Gone’, set in 2040.

Hannah Pryal played Ruby on ‘The Little Red Cap’ and we are delighted to be welcoming her back for our next tour, ‘Stone Baby’. Hannah told us “I had an amazing time on ‘The Little Red Cap’ talking with the young people and hearing their perspectives on the story!”
Our BCU placement students have been in rehearsals for ‘The Little Red Cap’ for 2 weeks! They’re enjoying “the very insightful process”!

Katie Mann joined Big Brum as a full time Actor-Teacher in 2024 after her university placement with us in 2023. She has been playing Mother on our ‘The Little Red Cap’ tour and will join our current placement students, on their tour of the same play, to step into the role again!
This week we have welcomed two 2nd year Applied Theatre students from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, BCU. Millie and Kian have joined us, on placement, where they will be rehearsing ‘The Little Red Cap’ before sharing it in a school. We are excited to have them with us!
Before the Easter break the director and cast of ‘The Little Red Cap’ went to the University of Worcester to film the play with John Bradburn. We’re excited to see the finished result!

The end of term marks the end of our ‘The Little Red Cap’ tour! We have had a wonderful time delivering the tour to schools across North Solihull and Birmingham. Thank you to all the venues involved!

Adam Nicholls has been playing the “big, bad, hungry wolf” in our ‘The Little Red Cap’ tour. This is Adam’s fifth tour for Big Brum after first joining us for ‘Over the Balcony’ in 2023.
