@WelshClayt I just dont know what the answer is anymore. I really dont. I joked with the boys that Fergie must've made a deal with the devil based on how bad we've been since he left.
The secret is out, I have 1,000 Battlefield 6 early access beta codes to giveaway!!!!

QBR is one of the most complex and holistic stats in existence and it should be respected instead of laughed at (and no it is not perfect so being #1 doesn't mean you are the best QB in the NFL that year). NFL GMs and executives use QBR and ESPN experts worked extremely harm to create this complex multi-factorial algorithm AND continually update it. It is much better than Passer Rating which is outdated and doesn't integrate things like rushing.
If you laugh at or dismiss QBR, you are showing that you don't understand the complexity associated with evaluating the QB position across varying situations.
Don't believe me? Just look at the #1 players ranked since its inception in 2006 and educate yourself:
2006: Peyton Manning
2007: Tom Brady
2008: Peyton Manning
2009: Drew Brees
2010: Tom Brady
2011: Aaron Rodgers
2012: Peyton Manning
2013: Peyton Manning
2014: Tony Romo (#2 Arod)
2015: Carson Palmer
2016: Matt Ryan (#2 Tom)
2017: Carson Wentz (pre-injury)
2018: Patrick Mahomes
2019: Lamar Jackson
2020: Aaron Rodgers
2021: Aaron Rodgers
2022: Patrick Mahomes
2023: Brock Purdy (#2 Dak, #3 Josh, #4 Lamar)
2024: Josh Allen
BTW, for the "Jimmy G was great at QBR as well" crowd - Jimmy G's highest QBR was #12 in his best season ever in 2019 in his 7th year in the NFL where he was removed from the playoff script by Kyle. Comparing Jimmy G to Brock Purdy shows you have no idea how to evaluate the QB position. Stop doing it.
