When Defensive Ends are aggressively striking their keys it cleans up so many things in your defense.
Edges get set, LBs stay clean, and gaps get compressed.
@IgottaPoo42@BlockchainJF@AdamSchefter@E_Woodyard The unbalanced tackle was automatically ineligible based off his #. Only player who needed to report was Decker saying he was eligible, which pretty clearly happened. Creative play, unfortunately undone by the White Hat assuming #70 was reporting simpy b/c he had done so earlier
@j_funkin_lee @NFL_DovKleiman Did I say anything about that play? My only issue is w/ this confusion re: the formation. They had 7 on, 4 off, and Decker (who reported) was the EMOLOS on that side of formation. No illegal touching, no illegal man downfield, and legal formation.
@IgottaPoo42@BlockchainJF@AdamSchefter@E_Woodyard The WR on Decker's side was off the ball and so was the TE on the other side of the formation. 6 OL + the 1 WR on the far side = 7 on the line and 4 in the backfield.
@BlockchainJF@AdamSchefter@E_Woodyard Unbalanced formation w/ 6 OL: 2 to left of C and 3 to the right. Decker reported, the WR on his side was off the ball, and the WR on the far side was on. That made Decker and the far side WR the end men on the LOS. Off WR, off TE, QB, RB were in backfield. β οΈ formation.
