When Netflix closed down its physical DVD rental service, they allowed their customers to request a few titles that they would mail to you as parting gifts to their customers. Curious if any of you got anything cool?
I just got a phone call from a very nice lady who told me that she was calling from "Card Services". She said that a credit card had been applied for in my name and she noticed that the applicant's address is in Michigan while records indicate that I live in Florida. She told me that she was transferring me to a supervisor who would confirm my information so that they could put an alert in the credit bureau for me. Little did they know that I handle fraud at work and that's not how any of this works. Oddly, when I told her that one of my work duties is fraud detection and resolution she hung up. I don't like to think of myself as "elderly" elderly (I'm 67) but this is exactly the kind that many of my older members here at the credit union fall for. NEVER GIVE PERSONAL INFO OUT OVER THE PHONE OR VIA EMAIL. No legitimate business will ask for personal information like that.
Thus why I’ve made the decision to just leave everyone’s lives, my feelings are always too much or wrong so for my birthday I gave everyone their peace back and just removed myself from everybody
Actually, nobody likes you when you're depressed. Plain and simple. We can talk all day about mental health and how important it is, but the moment you are depressed, people start to distance themselves. They see you as negative, a burden, and someone too heavy to handle.
