He's wearing his grandfather's MLB record on his cleats. @RylanLujo's custom kicks honor @Pirates legend Rennie Stennett (his late grandfather) and both sides of his family. 🇵🇦🇨🇺 #DawgNation#CWS2026#UGABaseball
Years ago when I worked in a steakhouse, Hoge came in to hang out with some associates. He was there for maybe 2 hours. In that span, he tied and autographed every server's tie. It was his idea after someone asked him about how he ties his ties.
Coolest dude.
I love how Cody Campbell is threatening everyone with suing them for violating Anti-Trust…
While simultaneously lobbying the federal government for an anti-trust exemption.
@mikefriess@Ruffinonjoeshow Yeah, why have a national champion level HC when you can have the guy that got there that one time when the schedule fell perfectly for him, then let his team quit the following season because they didn't get their way. Definitely a leader of men 🤣
Steelers rookie CB Daylen Everette has impressed coaches in OTAs.
DBs coach Jason Simmons says he has great humility and has been willing to tackle any challenge they give him.
This is what happens when pundits lie. People click on things that make them feel like their desired world view is aligned with reality
Since 2016, every SEC team has had to play at least one P4 team out of conference
No B1G team has played and beaten a P4 team on it’s regular season non-con schedule and won a national title in the same season since 2002 Ohio State
In fact, the Big Ten is the only league that doesn’t require it’s members to play a P4 pit of conference game, something the SEC has required for a decade.
@702Call@Bochalls77@historigins Dork, you are a parents wet dream.....
Look, I can see you getting all bunged up for them making you wear these kind of clothes. But face it, you're a neo-maxi-zoom-dweebie. What would you be doing if you weren't out making yourself a better citizen?
At the end of the day, the SEC still has more schools invested in football than anywhere else. They also have more brands that draw big TV audiences. On a long enough curve, one where the NIL/Portal are standardized in some way, the SEC model probably wins because the sport is still fueled by TV money.
Of the 100 most watched college football games of 2026, only 22 were broadcast by the B1G Ten’s TV partners (53 ABC, 19 ESPN, 13 Fox, 9 CBS, 4 NBC, 2 TNT)
The SEC regular season is far more popular than the B1G Ten regular season. 30 of the most 50 watched CFB games or 2025 were regular season games involving SEC teams.
There were just 5 regular season games involving Big Ten schools that made the Top 50 list.
The B1G hit a home run with the media rights deal they put together when the league expanded, but the draws have not justified the money to date. The SEC probably should have gotten more for their rights. What happens if they do next time around?
So, the Big Ten’s mission with expansion is of course to get more teams into a CFP. They need more Indiana stories where large dormant alumni bases suddenly care about football.
But this comes with the added bonus of making the regular season matter less. If it matters less then the SEC’s longterm advantage is diminished and the B1G, ACC, Big 12, etc. have a chance to make its programs have a more equitable share of the part of the cfb calendar people actually pay attention to in a future with a 24-team CFP
