2026 was the year we realised:
There are many people, political agendas, and interests that are desperately invested in South Africa failing.
In fact, some are actively working to try and bring it about.
South Africans must be careful that our internal issues are not exploited by lemigodoyi.
A Nigerian claims that some Igbos in South Africa are involved in drug dealing while using hair salons, restaurants, and other businesses as a front. He argues that their lifestyles appear inconsistent with the income those businesses would typically generate.
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy That's why we're holding our government accountable. But weak enforcement doesn't absolve those who knowingly break South Africa's immigration laws.
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy It's not the wrong battle when it directly affects South Africa. Every country has the right to protect its borders and enforce its laws...
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy I'm not worried about Zimbabwe. The issue is your countrymen who come to South Africa illegally to compete for the very same crumbs that are meant for South African citizens...
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy No one is denying corruption. But corruption doesn't excuse illegal immigration. Officials who fail to enforce the law are accountable, and so are those who knowingly break it...
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy Just because your country chose that path doesn't mean SA has to do the same. Every sovereign nation has the right to decide how it governs itself & addresses its own challenges. U made Ur choice, & that's ur country's decision. SA is under no obligation to follow the same route.
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy You are adamant about disrespecting the laws of a sovereign country. There is no point arguing with someone who sees nothing wrong with defending the very actions that have contributed to South Africa's immigration challenges through the unlawful conduct of your fellow countrymen
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy You should be a prosperous country by now. This was a decision u were confident in, so it's difficult to keep blaming it years later. If taking back the land was the right decision, then by now u should be seeing the benefits of being landowners instead of using it as an excuse.
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy Anything to defend your violation of South Africa's immigration laws. Immigration must be done lawfully and in accordance with the laws of a sovereign country, not by entering or remaining illegally.
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy Did you call out your own citizens when they broke South Africa's immigration laws? South Africa reached a breaking point after years of repeated lawlessness by your citizens that was ignored and, at times, even defended. You cannot blame us for reacting.
@Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy Do you see how lame your excuse is? You want to enjoy the benefits of the product but reject the very people who produce it. Be consistent instead of being selective.
@Sharmz1212 @NashMcRonzie@mr_shimmy If the government failed to enforce its own laws and ignored its citizens, what did you expect them to do? There had to be pressure for the government to act. Your fellow citizens knowingly violated another country's laws. You do not decide how the situation should be handled...
@NashMcRonzie @Sharmz1212 @mr_shimmy Working for less than the legally prescribed minimum wage is not a lawful employment arrangement where the minimum wage applies. The employer breaches labour law by paying below the legal minimum, even if the employee agrees to it. South Africans aren't stupid to break the laws..
