@shyguyzz1@tylermeredith Exactly why some people are annoyed. It isn’t anyone business, which is why we don’t need parades telling everyone what type of sex they prefer.
@BartFurley Have a lil look at what percentage India and China combined contribute. Then look at what percentage Canada contributes. Then look at the growth rate of carbon emissions for these countries. Exactly. Nuff said.
@Microinteracti1 How come you guys have 1800% more deaths due to heat than the USA? If it’s only hot for a couple weeks, why not use AC to bring those numbers down. Is it not worth the couple weeks of using a little more energy?
@FuriousManiati Because 170,000 people a year die due to heat waves in Europe…a far higher rate than countries that have adopted AC for use during… heat waves… but hey, you do you. I’d killing old people keeps your medical costs down.
@__FToni@neonstyx@Palle_Hoffstein USA had similar heat related deaths prior to AC becoming main stream in the 1960s. After it became adopted, death rates plummeted.
@sdkassis How about people with yachts, helicopters and private jets. I should feel guilty about my little AC unit while they burn untold amounts of fuel?
@DayleCourt44122@dvb_eck How come 24,500 people died due to heat waves in Europe during 2025 and only 2000 in the USA, which only has aprox half the population?
@__FToni@neonstyx@Palle_Hoffstein Ok, doesn’t change the fact that over 150,000 people die a year in Europe, due to heat. When you goto a first world country, such as USA, that number drops to a couple thousand.
@RedOyster_@aleksteske The claim is false: DSGVO/GDPR does not ban filming people in public spaces like trains; it regulates data processing, with a household exemption for personal, non-commercial filming.
