Today, I officially became a Muslim.

Alhamdulillah.

This has been one of the most important days of my life. It wasn’t a sudden decision or something I did on impulse. It’s been a journey of learning, questioning, reflecting, and searching for the truth. I talked about this for years, and today, that journey reached its destination.

I wasn’t born into Islam, but the more I studied it, the more everything began to make sense. It gave me clarity where I had confusion, purpose where I felt lost, and answers to questions I’d carried for a long time. The peace I found in Islam is something I struggle to put into words.

This doesn’t mean I’m suddenly a perfect person. Far from it. I’m still going to make mistakes, I’m still learning, and I have a lifetime ahead of me to grow in my faith. But today marks the beginning of a new chapter, one where I hope to become a better man, strengthen my character, and build a closer relationship with Allah.

To everyone who supported me, and to my family, who never questioned my faith despite being devoted Christians and even encouraged me, thank you. Your kindness has meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

May Allah keep me steadfast, forgive my shortcomings, increase me in knowledge, and allow me to live and die upon Islam.
