“Never” is a dangerous word to use with course design. There is no never (“you’ll never be able to ___!”), there is just “we’ve not yet figured out how to ____.”
Our job as instructors and designers is to figure that out. #Elearning
@raleighpolice Dog owner here. Stories like this always break my heart. I will be destroyed when it’s time to say goodbye to Starsky’s here.
Lucci, charge the rainbow bridge. You were a good dog!
Hey @LeonedaInge I don’t know if this is live or not, but what about the intersection of neurodivergent folks and negotiations? Has your guest ever looked at that intersection?
So I have actually had this account for a few weeks now. I am now beginning to get invites. If you would like to get a bluesky invite, DM me or email a screenshot of this tweet to Matt *at* bigfootsystems *dot* net.
@jamesqquick So I just reconstructed my résumé last month. I boiled it down from three pages to one. I would love to have a pair of eyes take a look at it and give some constructive feedback.
@davidbates@jonasrosland Absolutely agreed. AI is not going to replace people. AI will always need people to check its work over.
As people train for “money” professions, that’s how they need to start thinking about it; “how can I correct the AI?”
So stop thinking about nuts and start thinking about bits & packets. Hopefully, other cloud companies will see this and take appropriate actions.
@MicrosoftLearn I’m remembering that was free 900 exam vouchers last year.
@awscloud step it up kids.
@RedHat open up @openshift
So as cans of insoles engage in performative celibacy for the month of November (#NoNutNovember), @Google is instead of offering “no cost November,“ a chance to get incredibly valuable training on their cloud platform, for certification. #NoCostNovember.
@guyma@editingemily Unfortunately, though, I feel like AI is going to do a majority of the generative grunt work now. The AI makes it, and then someone more skilled comes along to check the work quality.
My younger brother is an attorney, and I suspect this is going to be the future of law.
Not dressed for corporate environments? Who cares.
Long hair? Who cares.
Thick beard? Who cares.
Weird and socially inept? Who cares.
The open source movement reminds me a lot my 80s punk days. Don’t like the music? Make your own. That’s why @AllThingsOpen rejuvenates me.
For over a year now, I have been taking swing after swing to get a job with @RedHat.
And I’ve had people ask me why? Why that company?
To me, #redhat represents the spirit that has driven the open-source movement. Everyone matters. Everyone can do something. Everyone belongs.
Day 1 keynote and welcome 🤗
#AllThingsOpen
(Part1)
“Open Source depends on all of us, we (contributors, maintainers, developers, operations, community) all bring value and it goes away if we don’t participate. It’s a privilege to belong to the community and grow , support and learn from each other.” - @nithyaruff
#OpenSource #TechnologyConference #DeveloperCommunity #community
So, when people ask me why my sites are locked on finishing my workforce time with @redhat, that’s why. The company’s culture & values are driven by the open source spirit.
For two days now at #AllThingsOpen I have felt like I’m home. I’m surrounded by other people like me.
