In English we say: ‘You changed.’
But in poetry we say: “you became a stranger wearing the face I used to love, and I am haunted by the ghost of who you were.”
In a relationship you can't just do what you want. you always have to think about how it will affect your partner. That's what this generation doesn't understand.
Remember this Christmas, if someone buys a $25 gift for you, and they make minimum wage, they paid 2-3 hours of their life to get you that gift. Be humble. Gifts don't have to cost much to have value.
