I will apologize ahead of time, this will be a long tweet. All those listed obligations seem to have been signed by Obi under his tenure. Most of these programs were multilateral organization funded (mostly world bank) on a National level with participating states.

In at least two of these loan obligations, there was no disbursement by the time Obi handed over.

We can’t categorically establish in which quarter the big jump in debt came but we can make one assumption:

SEPIP released a second program disbursement in April 2014 and another June 22, 2014 totalling over $50m. No doubt Anambra got a chunk of this and it likely contributed to the jump noted above.

Just on these 4 listed, totalling over $98.5m, the absolute maximum that could have possibly been disbursed under Obi is around $6.6m (it is impossible that even that was disbursed).

From the total 8 loans listed, the maximum disbursement under Obi will have been $31.8m which is less than 26% of what is stated. The people of Anambra should ask the governor After Obi what he did with the over $90m he received
