​I’m writing this while wearing a very specific "I’m an idiot" hat, which I’ve decided is my new permanent uniform.

​On behalf of myself, and maybe many others, I would like to formally apologise for every skeptical tweet, every raised eyebrow, and every "is he the right fit?" comment I’ve ever uttered. Yesterday, you didn't just score; you decided to casually dismantle Manchester United with a goal so beautiful I’m considering having it framed above my bed.

​I’ll be honest, Will—I doubted you at times. I thought I knew better (spoiler alert: I didn't). You’ve officially shut me up, proved me wrong, and sent the away fans home early, all in one fell swoop. If you want to send me a bill for the emotional distress you’ve caused 'United' fans—or for the sheer amount of humble pie I’m currently eating—just let me know!

​You’re a star, and I’m officially the President of the Will Osula Fan Club. Consider my lesson learned: Never doubt a man with a finish like that.
