Common mistakes YouTubers make:

1. “Whats up YouTube, its ya boy back with another banger”

Or “As you can see from the title & thumbnail”

Horrible intros. You have 3 seconds to hook a new viewer either with your audio or your footage

Best Method: either show the best moments of your video immediately or explain exactly whats going to happen in the video in a fast paced way with background clips that match what you’re saying (instantly proves value)

2. Title & Thumbnail saying the exact same thing.

If your title is “Fastest Way To Cook A 5 Star Steak”

Your thumbnail shouldnt say “SUPER FAST”

It should be a picture of that 5 star steak with a word describing how good that steak is going to taste

Your title already said you’re doing it fast, your thumbnail needs to show the viewers desired result.

So simple but I have to repeat this time & time again

Every time you make a video you need to ask yourself if you would give this video a chance if you were a complete stranger

If the answer is no, fix it

Harsh truth: nobody cares how often you upload if you’re uploading videos nobody wants to watch
