I facilitate engineering classes by F2F, distance & web conferenced. My philosophy no matter the environment: keep it simple, & activity before content.

#boundaryobjects #aaee2018 practicing one at a time speaking... will they listen?

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

Laying down the speaking rules: this is going to be tough. #Boundaryobjects #aaee2018

Workshop with @Brentpnz and the team. Impart some learnings from #deanz16. #CEIDW2

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

@The_NthDegree I think this shows that the pedagogy is/can/should be the same :) Sad I missed the debate :( looked like fun!!! #deanz16

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

Sick family members today :( following from across the river! Keep the updates coming! #deanz16

The Expert (Short Comedy Sketch) this is the expert thing i mentioned @Brentpnz #deanz16 https://t.co/njIRu9ksaj

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

#deanz16 friends, countrymen, educators, lend me your elf ears (whats in that sack?), "ears"!!!

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

@The_NthDegree We all believe in lifelong learning, but in a way that I want it :) Like me providing it to my students how they want it :)

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

@The_NthDegree :) Do you think we'll understand them? Imagine them explaining through virtual reality to us like its second nature #deanz16

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

@Brentpnz Is this the water cooler moments?

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

Got rid of COP & forums; provided more pedagogy and evidence. Educators seem to be reflective (or ignore?). #deanz16

Thanks @dwenmoth for the talk on authentic assessment. Keen to hear me about this conversation as it progresses! #deanz16

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

@The_NthDegree I would hope that neither are! I feel my institution throughout isn't assessment driven anymore (I hope).

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

@The_NthDegree It's what I meant :). Measures what a student can apply. Assessment with a purpose of finding out what someone can do.

[Aidan @BighamAidan]

Assessment as challenge. Authentic, open yet consistent. Measures what a student knows #deanz16
