@GDMLafayette@thycelticcross@clahanna So when I objected to racism directed @ian_mendes 6 years ago, was I hoping for a date too? Or maybe just defending another Ottawa journalist, as I usually do, as some of them are friends of mine.
@GDMLafayette@thycelticcross@clahanna I'm 63 years old with kids, grandkids and a loving wife. I think she's safe from my charms. So a guy can't be a fan of her work? "Men don't appreciate women". Except when we do, we're met with this shit.
@thycelticcross@clahanna Stop trying to find fault with the great reporter that @clahanna is. Her reporting is above reproach in our market. Go be butt hurt by succesful women somewhere else.
@mcercar@ctvottawa Claude is waiting to test the market before he signs. You never know, some GM with more money than brains could entice him away. I like Claude, but not at any price.
@Mr__Valentine__@NHLBruins As a goalie myself I loved Timmy. That said there is absolutely no way his number is retired.
Gerry Cheevers should definitely have his number retired. 2 Stanley Cups. 418 regular season games and 88 playoff games.
@clahanna You mean she's still with the team?? That's impossible; she's a popular player. Guess she'll end up in Hamilton after Phase 18 of the expansion draft.
@SolaTheAnalyst Dumbest comment ever. Toronto's transit is fantastic. Buses, streetcars, subways and commuter trains move the population easily. And, Canada has more than one host city.
@ok6ixx I was in Tomakomai during a bad windstorm. Almost all the bicycles that were parked at the train station had been blown over, leaving a huge tangled mess to greet commuters coming home. I watched as locals painstakingly picked up every bike, so the commuters wouldn't have to.
@uscfan981 Drove from KC to Denver down I70. I've also driven the Canadian Prairies from Regina to Calgary. Very similar drives through endless fields of long grass and crops. Only difference was the quality of the highway (I70 was smoother) and we got to see a tree in Kansas. 1 tree.
