Wow, its been a really long time huh? I've been taking a little time to find my place in this world, new career in I.T. and networking and just taking time to appreciate myself and my world.
I'm just brushing up on some skills, catching up on new techs. hoping to return soon.

@WiksaArt This is fantastic really like the design, I really like the “charms” on the chains and think they would be fun to animate but what I really love about this is the colour palette used

Just a little bit of material learning in #substancedesigner what we have here is a base colour for a Watercolour painting-inspired water material.
I haven't worked out how to do a nice turn-table render yet but more to come.

As with everything, as I started to get a handle on my spare time, I decided to start a new job, in a new but somewhat related sector. I’m now learning how to do a new role but, I feel motivated in general, a change is as good as a rest, they say, do who knows eh? Character art?

I seriously underestimated how hard and time-consuming making a low poly mesh from a sculpt is, and I have a new respect for this process.
But as you can see the low poly is close to being finished. hopefully, I can spend some more time this Saturday. #gameart #Blender

Made some real progress tonight on the axe, building a lp mesh on top of the hp sculpt is actually fun, even if I didn’t intend to do that, I should be finished modelling tomorrow then it’s the bake and unwrap

So this is the final sculpt of my take on @grantabbitt's axe tutorial series, It has been a lot of fun, I sadly made the mistake of only incrementally saving to about 10 iterations, so my lower poly model is gone, but I'm building a new mesh, on top of the sculpt. #blender3d
