In 1945, Mr Jinnah distributed 'Pakistan and Muslim India'.
It claimed Pakistan could be called Industan due to its separate history from Gangetic plain, and Hindus and Muslims here had more in common than their co-religionists in Hindustan.
It also said no to religious rule.
Hindutva is not a religion and is not Hinduism. It was founded by Brahmanas belonging to the organisation called the RSSโRashtriya Swayamsevak Sanghโin the early 1920s. It claimed a distinct Hindu identity which was intended as a Hindu control over Indian society. It internalised the colonial comprehension of Hinduism and the Indian past, disallowing the democratisation of Indian society. This is not new to historians, as the social control of religion over society has been written about at length. But this becomes a specific case relevant to the India of current times.

I find it cute when these newbies in Europe walk around in the safest quarters of these cities and call the whole nation safe.
Go to Marseille lady, or even Gare Du Nord, Porte de la Chapelle in Paris at night.
President Asif Ali Zardari expressed deep concern over the demolitions and threats to historic Muslim religious sites in India, including the 1,000-year-old Masjid Ganj Shaheeda in Varanasi. He asked India to immediately stop such actions, warning that they risk leading to the disintegration and perennial chaos of India. He called for an immediate halt to such actions and urged the protection of minority rights and shared cultural heritage.
When 3 idiots came out there were a series of suicides across the country. Media immediately picked it up and did shows on it, they had psychiatrists and counsellors on live TV. They were even appealing to celebs to step in and speak about it. Big B did and so did many celebs. Compare that to now. Inko Iran - US war se hi fursat nahi mil rahi.
Deer Chinese friends,
Whenever you encounter a Chinese caste system post, just slap that with simple community note without interacting. The campaign will fizzle out.
Recently, some Indian social media users claimed that they had made a "discovery" that China, like India, supposedly has "a caste system." They shared memes about ancient China's "four occupations" (Shi-Nong-Gong-Shang: scholars, farmers, artisans, merchants) by framing them as equivalent to India's hereditary jati system. Chinese commentators believe the claim reflects the ignorance of some Indian netizens about Chinese historical culture. https://t.co/qpLHiUGTbH
