BrahMos is already the world's fastest operational supersonic cruise missile. But India and Russia are now developing two new variants—a smaller BrahMos and a hypersonic BrahMos that could fly at speeds above Mach 5.

A smaller missile could be carried by more aircraft, ships, and future unmanned platforms, while a hypersonic version could dramatically reduce enemy reaction time and transform India's long-range strike capability.

If successful, this project would mark the next chapter in India's missile journey—from operating world-class missiles to helping develop the next generation of missile technology.

China has unveiled a micro drone reportedly designed for covert reconnaissance missions. Measuring just 1.3 cm in length and weighing less than 0.3 grams, the drone is said to carry miniature sensors while remaining extremely difficult to detect.

Turkey and India are separated by more than 4,000 kilometers and share neither a border nor a direct military rivalry. Yet, strategic observers are increasingly discussing India's growing presence in regions traditionally linked to Turkish interests.

In recent years, India has strengthened ties with countries such as Greece, Cyprus, and Israel—nations that have their own strategic disagreements with Turkey. At the same time, Indian naval deployments and exercises in the Mediterranean have highlighted New Delhi's expanding geopolitical reach beyond the Indian Ocean.

This does not necessarily mean India is pursuing a policy aimed at Turkey. However, it does reflect a broader trend: India's diplomatic, military, and economic influence is increasingly extending into regions far beyond South Asia. As global power dynamics evolve, partnerships and strategic alignments may prove just as important as military strength.

Hezbollah has claimed that it successfully shot down an Israeli Heron-1 surveillance drone over Lebanon's Bekaa Valley using an advanced missile system.

The claim has not yet been independently verified. However, if confirmed, the incident would represent more than the loss of a single drone. The Heron-1 is one of Israel's key intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance platforms, providing real-time battlefield awareness and target tracking.
