I've escalated your concerns about the dangerously placed bollard on Corban's Hill, and have just received confirmation that it'll be removed within 10 days.
@TheGradyConnell@AklBikes@_mharvey AT actually proposed doing new lynn to waitakere township (past Swanson) back in the early 2010s, even had detailed drawings, but then all but forgot about it
Its also promonent in Whau, henderson massey and waitakere ranges local board Greenways plans (or connections plans) 2/2
@TheGradyConnell@AklBikes@_mharvey Yes this is simular to what we suggested a number of times and have advocated for.
Only difference is we suggested the Sunnyvale to Glen Eden section be where the already busy muddy user-made pathway north of the tracks. 1/2
Impassable slip on Henderson Creek path nr Quiet St has been logged with @AklCouncil, suggested detour attached, also avoids very muddy bits from there to CP Drive. Take care out there! cc @BikeAKL

@thecwordradio 100%. Congestion is going to get worse and worse especially with intensification. The longer we wait the harder it will be to make the more effecient modes pick up.
@thecwordradio Yeah they claim the care about businesses but clearly they don't, just wanting to milk them of any opportunity to remove anything that isn't car centric.
@thecwordradio Yeah we saw a video 100ish. Ironically walking down the middle of the road causing actual traffic chaos on the busiest shopping day of the week. They then stood in front of library without anything constructive to say. Just more or less "get rid of it all".
