We were pleased to see that the construction barriers finally came down with the opening of the @peacecenter new music venue. People on foot and on bikes can now again use that side of the Reedy River!

It’s the worst of both worlds—a street designed like a road. It tries to move cars fast and support businesses with foot traffic.. but ends up being unsafe.
📢 Greenville deserves better. We need to redesign these corridors to prioritize people and place—not just speed.

Our volunteers make our work possible! Huge thank you to one of our volunteers who got out in the summer heat to trim back the tree and weed in front of the Lakeview Link statue. Now all trail users can see the statue on their trips. 😊🌞
