We're a group of cyclists and friends enthused about making Brandon the best it can be for bikes. Commuting, shopping, or just having fun — try it by bike!
“I was surprised to see how very strong the benefit was.” Biking helps you live longer with less likelihood of osteoarthritis or knee pain. https://t.co/TfadRNQPpf
“In central neighborhoods, bicyclists can access more than 15% of regional jobs, with minimal costs, typically $200 to $400 annually for bike repairs and tasty snacks”

Tested these on the weekend and they are easy to navigate on a bike! Cars were kept to a reasonable speed (about the 40km/h limit) and it didn’t look annoying at all, just different.
Chicanes have been added to the intersection of Durum Drive and Neepawa Drive and a mini roundabout installed at the intersection of Princess Avenue East and Douglas Street as part of the City of Brandon’s vision zero traffic safety initiatives. #bdnmb https://t.co/CoyoqKqRnK
Our condolences go out to the family of the young man who passed away in yesterday's accident. Our thoughts are with the individuals and families of all involved.
This is too bad to see — but it underscores the need to design our streets for safe speeds always, rather than relying on perfect behaviour under imperfect conditions
The City is reversing 38 pilot project speeding tickets due to an error in process. We apologize for our error and feel the fairest thing to do is wipe the slate clean on those tickets. Learn more: https://t.co/inl6AWZoWd
A rapid shift to sustainable mobility is 💯 possible of we encourage decision makers to have some courage to prioritize pedestrians, cyclists, people using micro mobility devices and transit users!
