Bikes For Florida and Beyond! #OneLessCar#OpenStreetsForBikes We support the League of American Bicyclists & all who want safe biking access everywhere.
If hitting a person in a bike lane is not a human behavior problem where the driver is accountable then it must be a design problem with an accountable engineer
There needs to be accountability somewhere. The US has 40,000 #TrafficDeaths because there is accountability nowhere
A vote on a reconciliation could happen soon and our priorities- safe networks, tax incentives and environmental justice- are in danger of being bumped as Congress debates downsizing the bill. Please tell Congress to prioritize better bicycling >> https://t.co/ABVBAg7BWY
The government needs to stop telling people with health problems to stay indoors when the air quality is bad, and instead tell drivers to leave their pollution machines at home. This is getting ridiculous.
What if car centric streets are just a historic anomaly in the long term development of our cities?
What if we call this the #StreetExperiment?
And what if we now stop it?

For an engineer, designing streets so that vehicles can travel as quickly as possible with as much room for error as possible is "standard practice." For members of your community, it's a perilous value judgement. https://t.co/TjHvbBGQ7L
@StrongTowns Same here in #SouthwestFlorida ! Pls help us get a protected continuous lane for pedestrians & bicyclists along Pine Island Rd, with speed reductions too: your input is needed, no matter where you live. Thank you! ๐ https://t.co/QGx3C9dXOl
