@The_Kyle_Mann I’m reading a book with each of my daughters. We read separately, and have an appointment to chat for a few min once a week about it. The book I’m reading with my middle girl (15 yo) is Screwtape.
We felt convicted by exactly this point in our talk last week about this passage.
@MikeWingerii@DeptOfChurch Additionally, Paul’s public sins persecuting the church were committed at a time that he did not claim to be a Christ follower. Big difference.
@OldHollowTree Each age for my kids has brought its own blessings, but yes - I love that age.
My oldest is 20 and my second is graduating HS. Ages 14 and 12 follow. The joy and pride I feel as they grow up is new at every stage.
Children are certainly a gift from God
@TheMuppetPastor You're very much right in this - church is for everyone because Jesus is for everyone.
I was just reminded of this in my reading this morning in Mark 2, where vs 13-17 recount Jesus telling us that He came for the (spiritually) sick.
