@r5lm5n @PPaulCharles It is awful for those people who have been stranded by the actions of their own government. Some of those affected are children too. To me, their approach is out of kilter and needs to be addressed. I sincerely hope the UK won't do this to their people.

@removethecaps All my friends overseas were shocked and disgusted when they were told of the reality faced by many stranded Australians. They couldn't even fathom how a government got away with keeping our their citizens and residents and they all said, "Isn't that against human rights law?"

@doughimself 但し、ワクチンでは「頑張ってやっていますが、ワクチン供給上の問題があり...」とかの言い訳もしやすいです（それが現実の可能性もあり）。あとは、人数的には勿論ワクチンの方がLogistically difficultですよね。

@doughimself PCRには特殊な装置が必要で、時間もかかるという面では、PCR検査のLogisticsの方が予防接種よりも断然大変ですね。あとは、PCR検査を大量に行った経験が浅かった vs 予防接種は日常茶飯事にやっていることなので、Pfizerの-70度要件は別として割と慣れているのではないかと思います。

@makkoruden @doughimself It might be a bit controversial but to me, it's more about "ockerish vs non-ockerish" regardless of the region. I totally understand the difficulties with strong Aussie accent though. Not that I deny having more ockers in QLD...

@rachelbaxendale @TimSmithMP I do not see anything wrong with using the word "detained" whether that term is used on the paperwork or not. If you are not allowed to leave the quarantine hotel room, then "detained" is a correct use of the English language.
