Join us tomorrow (July 1) for a Pancake Breakfast & Pool Party Lūʻau!

Beginning at 7:00 am, the Coaldale Fire Department will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at the Firehall. Breakfast is $7 per person and includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, and juice, coffee or water.

Following the pancake breakfast, thanks to a generous donation by Verdell Andres there will be FREE open swim from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. that includes a Pool Party Lūʻau from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The Town of Coaldale’s 2026 Property Assessment and Tax Notices were mailed out on May 28, 2026.

Payment is due by next Tuesday (June 30, 2026)

Property owners who do not receive their Tax Notice by June 7 can contact the Town Office to have a copy reprinted. Please note that late payment penalties will not be waived if a Tax Notice was not received.

💧 Water Rate Change – April 1st, 2026 💧

As of April 1st, 2026, Coaldale’s water consumption rate will increase to $1.918 per cubic meter (m³).

This increase is directly tied to an increase in the wholesale cost of treated water charged to the City of Lethbridge's regional customers, which came into effect on January 1st, 2026.

From the field to the stacks! The majority of Alberta's sugar beets are stored in Coaldale, Tempest, Taber, Budett, Vauxhall, and Enchant. These large stacked piles hold the sugar beets until they are transported to the factory.
