Governor Whitmer says the democratic process is important to her. She can prove it by delaying the May 5th election.
I call upon her to take action now. Read the full remarks here: https://t.co/4tuwTjLi2Y
@shmurph5 If they get enough votes to qualify for delegates, they would go to the convention pledged to that candidate.
Rules would dictate when they are free to vote for others.
Great conversation on Jack Lessenberry's podcast about 3rd parties with Jennifer Kurland (2018 Green Party candidate for Governor).
Very nice to have a civil discussion of issues and our democracy. You can view it here: https://t.co/GV8gKwE7f2

Proud to see my friend Michael LaFaive @lafaive write a strong and compelling piece about Pure Michigan and why it should remain unfunded. Read it here: https://t.co/tSYeJmEUqZ
The immorality of the Pure Michigan campaign was a central theme in our campaign last year.
Well, I've found something that the Governor did that deserves praise. Read more about my approval of Governor Whitmer's cut for Pure Michigan -- which was one of the key items in my campaign.

@leedevito Lee. I find genealogy to be personally enlightening and a great way to trace family through history. A personal "Kent Family Chronicles".
My family tree is online at: https://t.co/16H6Ik1ue9. Several in the family writing a companion book.
Not just a Libertarian....LOL
So Michigan. I have a math puzzle on my Facebook page. Surprising, after 3 hints....we still don't have a solution to what this equation represents.
Wanna give it a shot?

Rand Paul earned a lot of respect from me today. Of course we should ensure first responders are given proper funding. But, you can see the media closing ranks to go after anyone that wants normal order (a debate).
@ChadLivengood Here is a thought. Why not allow a county "bundle" (at least 3) or some minimum population create an incremental tax district?
I'm planning to put the whole plan up on the web shortly. It's not built for Twitter.
Feel free to call if you would like to hear it. 616-723-2776.
Raising revenue. While I think that could be part of the mix, the Whitmer proposal is both DOA and probably immoral on it's face. Just making rural Michigan even more distrusting of Democrats...locked in 7 or 8 counties.
There is a grand bargain that I think would work.
@ChadLivengood I heard you on Statewide today talking about roads.
I'm really curious why there seems to be only one answer to this problem. I did a panel on Tom Sumner last week and got very positive responses from both left and right. Will anyone serious listen?
Perhaps what we need to do next is get folks to run for City Councils. It sickens me that councils whose cities passed this measure by 20 points feel they can ban business entirely.
People need to rise up and demand better from their elected officials.
@emilyjanelawler Hi Emily. Hope you're well. I've recovered from the campaign and have renew commentary. I listened to FB with Gov. Whitmer. Nobody is asking about the corrections budget. Take care. Stay in touch.
My FB post on the subject: https://t.co/Y2d8DxnzW1
The budget by @GovWhitmer is no surprise. Raising taxes is exactly what I said would happen during the campaign. Despite denials, here we are.
I covered this more on Facebook: https://t.co/hQPXo4ybth
