@Hyundai Also: "customer care" has felt like a misnomer. I would expect customer care to provide a new engine to replace the defective one you installed. It's not too late for @Hyundai to do the right thing, but my experience up till now doesn't give me a lot of hope.

@Hyundai I'm super disappointed. My daughter's 2012 Sonata engine died 9/14. I thought since it's a defective engine and there's a recall on it that Hyundai would replace it, but weeks of frustrating engagement have left me with a "no" because recall 953 hasn't been performed.

@Hyundai I was hoping that reaching out here would put me in contact with someone who has the power. One of the maddening things about @Hyundai is that you seal off your decision-makers from the customers they're supposed to be serving. You hold all the power yet fail to do what's right.

@Hyundai I don't understand. Hyundai installed a defective engine. We didn't own the vehicle when recall 953 was issued. Hyundai never notified us of the need for it. Weeks of frustrating engagement have not answered these questions.
