Spent years trying to get high, then met the Most High! Have an awesome God & fantastic wife. Associate pastor @ Kings Circle in Corvallis, OR. #lifeischoice
“…:forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14)
To follow the new, we must completely let go of the old.
Did you hear about the wife who told her husband she wanted a watch for her birthday? He asked why she would need that when there's already a clock on the oven.

“May the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow.” (1 Thessalonians 3:12)
People need to know they are loved by God. You are God’s plan for one who can show them.
“We were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children…we exhorted and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children.” (Paul in 1 Thessalonians 2:7, 11)
Church leaders are to be gentle like a mother and also firm like a father. We need both.

…who all were water baptized on Sunday at Kings Circle, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus. 💦
Did you hear about…
…the new fish-n-chip shop in heaven? Its slogan: “Our Cod is an awesome Cod!”
…the social media site for believers with a lisp? It’s called Faithbook.
…the day Jesus preached at the baseball stadium? He gave the Sermon on the Mound.
“Our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 3:20)
We will never be at home in this world. Our true home is in heaven. The only reason we are still here is to let others know there’s a better home for them, too!
“It is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.” (Luke 9:48)
To be great in God’s sight and in God’s kingdom, we must quit striving to be great. Instead, we are to focus and work on how we can serve those around us.
Did you hear about the guy who rented a limo for $1,000 a day but it didn't come with a driver? He was quite upset after spending all that money and having nothing to chauffeur it.
“What is important is faith expressing itself in love.” (Galatians 5:6)
The big reason we grow stronger in our faith in God is so we can love others better. The more we know and trust Jesus, the more we will be like Him, and the more His love will flow through us.
“Follow God’s example as dearly loved children, and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us...” (Ephesians 5:1-2)
We are the most like God when we love others by doing things for them that cost us.

“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” (Phil 2:12-13)
We may try to work out other people’s salvation as we consider what they should change. But it’s our own salvation we are to work on.
“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” (Romans 12:18)
World peace? Forget about it!
Peace in our own personal little world? Now that’s something we can work at.
