Since the beginning of the pandemic, employee safety has been Champion’s top priority. We produce our own masks and provide them to employees free of charge, we distribute cleaning supplies and disinfectants, and we frequently send out reminders of health and safety guidelines.
Employee recruitment and retention has been a big issue for the security industry during COVID. Security officers are frontline workers. They aren’t given the choice to work from home. That increased risk without hazard pay makes it harder to attract employees.
