Politically homeless-no politicians I respect these days, just troughing careerists.Ach well,I’ve still got fitba, malt whisky, small batch gin and classic rock!
@overlandertheb1 The Tartan Army didn’t even want to be seen with him at Euro24. He came on stage, along with a few German politicos, at the Munich Fanpark before the first game. He was booed by the vast majority, to the extent that the interviewer didn’t ask him any more questions!
My good wife just made a point.
- In over 25 years of marriage how would you know what make up I use, the brand, the shade etc. etc?
- I wouldn’t have a clue dear.
- Exactly, no man would. That stuff was either on a shopping list or the recipient was there when Murrell ordered it
@EnglandOnOurWay@paulmul90824168 No it doesn’t. It was the Jules Rimet Trophy all those 60 years ago, which was presented to Brazil when they won it for a third time.
@jackmiddleton95@thomsonrichardg Jings, a few weeks in the door and you’ve already caught the lying disease that affects all SNP MSPs and MPs. BTW - how do you “meet” a port?
@RosaZambonini Ffs - forget about the fact she was married to the embezeller. She was the most senior politician in Scotland, she was the SNP leader, she was one of only 4 signatories to their finances, she blocked any close scrutiny of those finances. All of that opens her to legit questioning
In two minutes @Annemarieward talks more sense about tackling Scotland’s massive drug addiction problem - than all of Holyrood’s Drug Ministers - since health was devolved - put together
@RowanGallery@euanmccolm 2. If you chose to question their requests or decisions the response was “how dare you ask that”, usually coupled with “because the minister wants it”, “the minister has told us that’s what’s to be done” and the favourite “it’s not for you to question the minister’s decision”
@RowanGallery@euanmccolm 1. 100% correct.I moved from the private sector into one of ScoGov’s agencies meaning I came across and had to deal with many higher level public sector personnel. The ineptitude of most was astounding and I constantly thought how quickly they’d be found out in the private sector.
@Helloblackbird2@GlasgowAdvocate@Ardirv51 Aye…..and Constance now on her 8th junior/senior ministerial role - sacked or moved on from 7, lied to parliament and breached the ministerial code in the last one 🤦♂️
@KeskinensBigToe@moomintroll41@macnahgalla My apologies, sacked or moved on from 7 ministerial roles. She just lied to Parliament and broke the ministerial code as Justice Secretary - not a good look for any minister, but particularly poor for the “justice” secretary. She should’ve been sacked!
@RangersReview55 I was there today - “punishment” for my nephew playing for Livi this season! - Findlay was a class above everybody else on the pitch today (a compliment in itself given how good Killie were) and he must be back in the Gers starting 11 next season, particularly with Moore leaving.
