My card nearly fell out of my hand.
I looked around.
A man stood by the coolers, watching us.
His hand was buried inside his jacket.

My six-year-old son was sitting in the car outside, I swallowed my fear and I told the cashier $20 on pump three.”I quietly pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

Then the man walked up, He dropped duct tape, rope, and zip ties onto the counter.

My stomach turned………..
