One of the most thought provoking speeches I've seen in a while.
@Miss_Snuffy on how raising a generation to see the world through oppressors and the oppressed is changing the West.
If you don't have time, bookmark it. It's worth every second.

A wise man once said, if you want to hate America, watch the news. If you want to love America, drive across it.

WOAH 🚨 Gavin Newsom and Jennifer Newsom diverted fire aid money into their own nonprofit
New evidence shows it’s worse than we thought, Jennifer Newsom also personally pocketed over $4 MILLION through ‘California Volunteers,’ which was created by Gavin Newsom within the Office of the First Partner (which is an office Gavin Newsom also created)
“Now we are finding out that Gavin's wife has personally netted over $4 million through this nebulous organization. Cal volunteers a weird NPO that Gavin simply made up for her within the office of the first partner, but nobody can fully explain what they actually do.
Well now it's a pretty California thing for rich dudes to make up fake businesses that burn money so their wives can stay busy and keep distracted from their affairs”
It’s time to investigate and arrest Gavin Newsom. How much evidence do we need, why is he so untouchable. They’re stealing millions
Just so we’re clear this is 2 separate organizations
Fire Aid money was sent to California Volunteers Fund which is NGO Newsom’s wife is involved in
AND
California Volunteers which is a government agency under the Office of the Governor
We are being robbed blind by these criminals
You've heard about this story. Now you get to see it.
I traveled to Columbus, Ohio, and witnessed the most egregious government waste I've seen in my 20 years as an investigative reporter.
This has been going on for years, and you've been paying for it.
Take a look⬇️
Saturday: third Trump assassination attempt at the same Hilton where Reagan was shot.
Today: King Charles arrives in DC.
Last week: a House of Lords report admitting their Empire is toast without US cooperation.
@SJKokinda — these aren't separate stories.
💖An Adoption story: 💖
"Last Tuesday, we got a call about a one-day-old baby girl in the NICU.
We had 30 minutes to say yes, and we did.
We went to bed thinking they'd probably choose someone else.
The next morning, we woke up to a phone call:
They chose us. An hour later, we were packed and on our way to the airport. After a 10-hour travel day, we made it. We were about to meet our daughter.
Meet Haven Nevaeh Lawson.
We named her Haven because that's our prayer, that her life would be filled with safety, peace, and protection. That she'd always know she can find security not just in our arms, but in the arms of God.
That’s the name her birth mama gave her. We kept it to honor her bravery and the beautiful decision she made to choose life. Nevaeh is "heaven" spelled backward.
So her full name carries this hope:
Safe in God's presence, forever.
We've spent the last 9 days by her side in the NICU. It's been hard, physically and emotionally, but even in the middle of the unknown, we've seen God's hand, His timing, and His kindness. 🙏
Would you pray for our baby girl Haven?
Pray that she'll be healthy enough to come home soon, home to the family & friends that are so ready to surround her with love.
Adoption is joy and heartbreak tangled together. But in the middle of it all, we're overwhelmed with gratitude. She is worth every moment." 🫶💕
A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27:
“It’s a strange thing knowing you’re going to die young.
At 26, I thought I had time…
To fall in love.
Start a family.
Grow old.
But cancer doesn’t care about plans.
Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee.
I’m not writing this to scare you. I’m writing to remind you: really live.
Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day you’ll wish you had appreciated it.
Go outside.
Look at the sky.
Feel the sun.
Just be.
Spend less time chasing “stuff” - more time making memories. Don’t skip moments with people you love.
Laugh more.
Write a note.
Tell someone you love them.
Complain less.
Give more.
Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy.
Be present.
Put your phone down.
Show up - really show up.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect body, or a perfect life.
Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to.
And please - donate blood. I wouldn’t have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories I’ll hold close… forever.
Thank you for reading this.
Live your life well.
And maybe… we’ll meet again someday.”

NEW LONG FORM VIDEO: Why The Masters Doesn’t Want Your Money
In 2002, a women’s rights activist named Martha Burke sent a polite letter to Augusta National Golf Club with a simple request: please consider admitting a female member. The chairman at the time, a man named Hootie Johnson, responded firmly. He said that someday they might admit a female member, but they would not do it under pressure.
What happened next surprised everyone. Johnson called the Masters’ three biggest sponsors, IBM, Coca-Cola, and Citigroup, and told them not to return. Instead, the tournament would run its television broadcast with no advertising. For two straight years, the Masters aired without commercials, leaving roughly $20 million a year in sponsorship revenue on the table.
Even today, the Masters continues to operate in ways that seem almost irrational. The tournament is estimated to leave around $250 million in potential revenue on the table each year. They sell pimento cheese sandwiches for just $1.50 and limit commercialization in ways that most businesses would never consider.
And yet, despite all of these unusual decisions, the Masters remains one of the most prestigious sporting events in the United States.
So what would make an organization run a business this way? Is it greed, elitism, or something much more strategic? This is the rise of the Masters.
