@dieworkwear @TheAndersonOB The W123 indeed is the way to go, IMO. Just don’t be cheap about the routine stuff and endeavor to find one that’s been well looked-after to start. Robust and fairly simple, proven mechanicals mean there’s nothing overly complex to go wrong.
@Boenau Honda, for one, had a clever feature called LaneWatch, to help with this situation: engage your right indicator (turn signal) and on the center screen you’re offered a camera view down the right-hand side of the vehicle. Now almost every carmaker relies on blind-spot monitoring.
The story of D-Day can be partly told in the numbers. Nearly 160,000 allied troops landed. Almost 7,000 allied ships and over 11,000 allied aircraft supporting operations. 4,400 allied dead. 2,400 American casualties at Omaha Beach. 9,387 American graves at the Normandy American Cemetery. Incalculable is the importance of D-Day as a turning point against tyranny. I’m glad to see the heroic survivors who are still with us from that day 80 years ago are recognized for their effort. #AProudSalute
@TamerlaneBlog Magnificent NVH (as you might expect), good, not great, gearshift, same for the steering. Excellent IP and seating position in a tight cabin. Thirsty as hell. Stay outta the throttle in the wet.
@john__rosevear @louwhiteman We’ve had a Maverick hybrid ordered for 8-plus months. Not a word from @Ford, dealer never updates, nuthin’. Little wonder the execs aren’t discussing - low-margin Maverick apparently a product the company really would rather not sell.
@Robby_DeGraffAP Just about every @Ford Maverick Monroney I’ve seen lately (my son’s had one ordered for going on 8 months) has a $20 credit for deleted hotspot.
@MikeWayland@jimfarley98 There’s really only one question that needs answered, Mike: is T3 body-on-frame? My guess is that it isn’t. If it is, then there’s a multitude of follow-up questions.
Can’t give driving impressions yet, but the 2024 @Dodge Hornet aims to put some sting into the generally marshmallowy compact-crossover segment. The plug-in R/T deals out 288 hp and 383 lb-ft - plus a party trick from its electric rear axle.
@sternpinball Also not Stern, I’m afraid, but High Speed and The Getaway notch up the intensity of multiball with that supercharger action. Unforgettable design.
@johnvoelcker As with most gov regulation, there’s a lot to unwrap. But I think you’re on the right track - integrating CCS into the Supercharger network prob is going to mean a lot of hit-and-miss in terms of UX. One key is going to be reliable info on CCS-cord availability per SC site.
@laura_nelson I also engage in a lot of unsubscribing, but I’m not sure it doesn’t just provide a confirmed email address for dozens more “affiliated” spammers.
Curious if network producers for tonite’s #Steelers vs #Raiders game have the sense to cut screen crawls for replays of the Immaculate Reception. All the pertinent action is in the bottom 10% of the frame and one or two stacked crawls block it all. Local stations don’t get it.
