Just heard the sad news that friend and fellow cartoonist Clive Collins MBE has passed away. Clive had a long and successful career drawing for many publication including Punch, Playboy, The Oldie, Readers Digest, Daily Mail and Sun.

Whilst in the garden this afternoon, a colourful visitor dropped by. A Small Copper, no time to photograph it see pic. from my butterfly book, taking nectar from the buttercups and clover flowers covering my lawn since I stopped mowing it. Excited at my first sighting this year.
Another sad passing today - Tim Brooke-Taylor aged 79 after losing his battle with coronavirus. I remember him in a favourite prog. "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" and the hilarious

Just heard the sad news that motor racing legend Sir Sterling Moss, who I once met, has passed away aged 90. His name became part of the language. If you were caught speeding, police would usually say "Who do you think you are, Sterling Moss"
