There are two primary reasons why people forget to ask for referrals: 1) lack of confidence, & 2) not making it part of their meeting agendas. One tool you may find helpful is to use an Introductions Journal. It will act as a constant reminder for you to ask for introductions.
Building a referral-based business begins with a commitment to meeting your clients the way they prefer to meet you, i.e., and introduction from someone they already trust. Once you make the commitment, then you focus on the strategies and tactics to make it happen.
