@KariDaniels It’s a sponsorship usually. They give the venue x dollars of upfront money for the exclusivity and then the venue has to pay x at wholesale for the product and then tack on labor, venue split with the concessions contract and voila you get a 10 times mark up

@pamsson The crowd actually was pretty great live. It just didn’t come across on tv as well when I was rewatching it. Agree though the matches took second stage to everything else and nothing got the time it deserved. I’m expecting and hoping tonight is much better as it should be.
