ESPN sources: the Chicago Bears are working to finalize a trade that would send WR D.J. Moore to the Buffalo Bills.
Compensation still is being discussed, and the trade cannot be processed until the new league year begins, but both sides are pushing to make it happen.
At this point, interview me @BuffaloBills Iโm also from a cold weather city, very resilient. No HC experience, but that doesnโt seem to matter anyway. I will draft only WRs from rounds 1-7. If it doesnโt work, Iโm 6โ2 and run faster than Coleman. Signed? #BillsMafia
@BuiltInBuffalo_ No. I wouldnโt bring anyone that has a strong bond or is Joshโs personal friend. It has to be someone that will treat Josh without any special treatment and will push him and hold him accountable when he makes mistakes. Someone that will bring winners to the roster, not friends.
all quotes from Brandon Beane on draft night:
โI went to bed that night saying itโs Keon unless someone blows us awayโ
โBarring someone offers us something stupid. Weโll take Keon Colemanโ
Sure sounds like it was HIS pick!
@BuffaloBills Someone ask Beane about the WR corp he gave to Josh and why on earth he didnโt give a 2026 first round pick for Waddle when the offer was on the table
And Brandon Beane failed Josh Allen by never consistently giving him elite WR talent. After Diggs, there was no true WR1, just depth and role players. While contenders loaded up, Buffalo asked Allen to elevate average receivers. That works in October. Not in January. #BillsMafia
Sean McDermott did not limit Josh Allenโs talent, development, or professionalism. He did limit Josh Allenโs ceiling in playoff moments through philosophy, risk tolerance, and late-game decision-making. McDermott is a great builder, but Buffalo needs a finisher. #BillsMafia
