I will accept Nigel Farage’s request to be appointed Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead.
It is a farce and a desperate distraction, and the people of Clacton deserve better.
But if he wants to spend the summer arguing with a bin, I won't stop him.
@implausibleblog@Doylech Jenrick’s doing this more & more- the talking over the interviewer nonstop tactic to avoid having to really engage with any questions.
I reckon they should turn his mic off every time he tries it.
I met with Prime Minister of Norway @jonasgahrstore. Norway is providing significant support for our air defense and energy sector, and it is very important that this support continues. Jonas and I had a substantive discussion about decisions that will help strengthen the protection of our skies, as well as Norway's participation in financing gas purchases to ensure our cities and communities are prepared for winter.
I thank Norway for its consistent defense and financial support for Ukraine. We also focused on joint defense production, financing Ukrainian defense technologies, and working on the Drone Deal. We agreed that our teams will work actively to advance all of the agreements we have reached.
We value Germany's leadership in strengthening our air defense through bilateral support and substantial contributions to the PURL initiative. Thanks to this, we are able to procure anti-ballistic missiles that are in short supply. This is especially important now, as Russia is counting on brutal ballistic strikes to enable it to continue the war.
We are also preparing a Drone Deal with Germany and working to establish a joint European anti-ballistic system. I am grateful to Germany, and personally to @bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz, for the support and for the steps being taken toward European anti-ballistic defense. This is the only way to guarantee reliable protection of lives across Europe from missile threats.
We signed a Drone Deal agreement with Denmark. This is already Ukraine’s ninth such agreement, and it is important that more and more partners are joining this format, which opens up greater opportunities for joint defense production, the exchange of expertise, and transparency in weapons exports. Together, we are building a new security architecture. I thank Denmark, and personally Mette, for this step toward strengthening our shared defense. It was with Denmark that we began joint production in Ukraine under the Danish model, and it is absolutely fair that Denmark will now have access to Ukrainian exports of weapons tested in war.
Today, we also discussed with the Prime Minister @Statsmin the strengthening of our air defense and work on European anti-ballistic defense. It is extremely important for us right now to receive Patriot missiles as quickly as possible and to jointly develop our own European capabilities to counter ballistic threats.
I thank Denmark for its continued support for our people – for its defense and financial assistance, and for all its contributions to the PURL initiative.
The NATO Summit in Ankara – and, as our partners say, Ukraine rightfully belongs here. Our main tasks are to secure more air defense and stronger diplomatic positions. All meetings planned for today have taken place, along with some additional important ones that were not on the schedule. Ukraine is always working toward effective and equal partnership and the protection of life. Thank you to everyone who helps us!
I met with Italy’s @GiorgiaMeloni for an important conversation. I informed her about the situation in Ukraine.
Russia does not stop attacking our cities and communities. Today, there were ballistic missile strikes again, and attack drones were launched as well. Sadly, there are people killed in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson. Russia has taken the lives of five people. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
We discussed the prospects for our joint work in Europe on anti-ballistic capabilities to provide greater protection for everyone – both Ukraine and every country.
We spoke about the need for additional interceptors and we are counting very much on support. Italy has always helped in a principled way to protect life. Thank you!
Ukraine is giving a fully justified response to Russia striking our country and prolonging the war.
Today, our long-range sanctions reached the Saratov region, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan – roughly 800, 1,400, and 1,500 kilometers from the front line. They also reached the Voronezh region – about 300 kilometers from our border.
I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and our intelligence agencies for their accuracy.
The Saratov oil refinery was hit. Warriors of the Special Operations Forces struck an oil refinery in Tatarstan.
Russians must feel that their state is waging this war. I thank everyone who helps defend Ukraine!
There we go. £5m gift from a Thai crypto billionaire, not declared to parliament, flagged with the NCA. If you occupy the world of Reform's senior leadership this is "literally normal".
This Clacton Circus is an absolute gift for Andy Burnham. All scrutiny has suddenly dissipated. Gets extra space to put his team and 100 day strategy together. Then stands on the steps of No.10 looking Prime Ministerial, whilst Nigel Farage is wandering around arguing with a bin.
Nigel Farage: "I'm going to ignore the wishes of Henry Nowak's family and extract every ounce of political capital from their son's death".
Nigel Farage: "Leave my family alone"
Doctor Who, Jacob Rees-Mogg and his assistant Steve travel to Clacton in 2046, where the phallic-neck Daleks have seized power.
Their only hope? Return to 2026 and find Count Binface to take on Nigel Farage.
