@ByAndrewWagner Every GM has staff that they listen to if they are good at their job. However scouts also probably told him the Hader trade was good, but he wears the blame for that. As the head guy, he gets the final say credit, and blame because its his job to fill those positions below him imo
@PaulCinny Profits come from advertisements and increased viewership from fans. Not wagering games. Players can do as many commercials with books as they want and increased views just increases league revenue which the players get kickback from. Not gambling directly on games is pretty easy
@CraigStem@Shootparnc@DMEASrecruiting Mason Miller couldn’t hit 90 when he started college. Building Velo is a process. What if they find a summer coach who unlocks something in their mechanics and they can now sit 92-94? Play as much baseball as you possibly can for as long as you can is much better advice
@Newmdawg@kylecorwintakes That’s physically impossible because games are played at different attitudes in different environments. You thinks coors is crazy now, make it be 400 Cf and 330 down the lines and watch every Rockies home game end in foootball scores
@TheRealHoz35 You’re kinda proving the wrong pointv They’re all basically interchangeable hitters, if you isolate defense and base-running. Proving that a guy batting .232 can be just as good of a hitter as .297
@CombineArtwork I get he’s a new Red Sox and you want to defend him, but he’s played his whole career in the brewers division, and has been known to do annoying and dirty shit like tonight his entire career. They pitch him in, he stands on the plate and leans into it then complains. Rinse repeat
@spamuelJ21@BlueMountains72@Sam_Vecenie Im not defending Jim Joyce but comparing it to something like this is apples to oranges. This game/call means nothing. Im looking at just the call itself. The decision the umpire made based on the play. Not the larger stakes. Strictly off that definition, this was much worse
@BlueMountains72@Sam_Vecenie The moment was what made it so bad. The call itself wasn’t. It was wrong, but it was decently close. Let’s be real, if that happened in the 7th inning of that game it would have been forgotten to history.
