“All is not lost, the unconquerable will, and study of revenge, immortal hate, and the courage never to submit or yield.”

"You there… who are you to interrupt my reading? You’d better have a good excuse. I am not a patient man. Choose your words carefully, or you will taste my blade."

One of the best Vergil themes. Much better than Bury the Light, imo.
BUT, Battle 3 is a full-blown concert piece: much more orchestral, theatrical, and poetic. It’s the absolute apotheosis. To me, it perfectly reflects Vergil’s duality between his demonic and human heritage.
I especially love the harp, which you can hear almost discreetly woven into the choirs. It brings a sense of lightness and tenderness (the human/Eva side). The cello. And the violin that’s already present, particularly during the final blow. This music has absolutely nothing to envy from John Williams.
