@ballskwok@BleacherNation A really high proportion of his well struck fly balls are pulled. Fangraphs wrote him up over the summer

@IvyFutures One important caveat with any YoY Steele usage numbers is how much more efficient he's been. He's thrown 195 fewer pitches this year despite more innings
Will still definitely need another breather though
@BleacherNation I believe doing it this way also means Assad can start Thursday if Gomes indeed goes on the IL (he can be recalled "early" but only if it's replacing an injured player)
@Sky_Kalkman Not the biggest anime guy, but maybe something in the Gundam universe? Gundam Wing maybe? They get their action from the giant robots, but the stories are typically pretty political. And they've usually run on Cartoon Network so obviously fairly beginner friendly
@downonthefarm12@enosarris It would be really cool if you combined this with the charts from earlier last week. So hitter age vs. wRC+ as a chart and then a separate one with pitcher age vs. xFIP
@BleacherNation @GDubCub There are actual real arguments against rob umps! The accuracy isn't perfect. What exact zone do we use? Do we like what it does to the catcher position? Etc.
But you highlighted a selection from Wittenmeyer that's basically just whining about tech ruining the game
@BleacherNation No problem, I know Google likes to go rogue. Here you go, this bottom one has started showing up within the last week and is super intrusive
@DSzymborski Wow this looks great! I was expecting (and willing to put up with) something way jankier.
And I'm playing CS3 and 4 on Switch, so I'm not worried about graphics too much lol
@No_Little_Plans There's a certain point in The Last of Us 2 where you think it's wrapping up but then realize you're only halfway through. You probably heard my audible groan 3 states over
