Last weekend I swore to myself I wouldn't work over the weekend (since "school hours" means until you sleep now) but was unable to hold that boundary, as I don't have much planning time during the week. We need to set boundaries with work now more than ever since we get 1/3
I find myself up until 9-10PM making lesson plans and I know there are other teachers out there doing even more! I need to set boundaries with work and set myself some "school hours" and I know many others who do as well. I just don't know how yet...
Texts/emails at all hours of the night & since the computer is just over in the dining room, I feel obligated to work when I am not on contracted time. And obviously the point isn't the money, but there are certain hours we are compensated for and not (even with online learning)
